Green Bay, WI – Final preparations are being made as the curtain goes up on the 55th annual Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) Farm Show is set for the EAA Grounds in Oshkosh on March 24, 25, and 26.

The annual show attracts about 20,000 visitors to the three day agricultural expo that features a wide range of agricultural services and demonstrations of the latest farm technologies and equipment.

"We expect nearly 500 exhibitors from all over the US and Canada demonstrating about $30 million worth of equipment and machinery in about 430,000 sq. ft. of exhibits," said Rob Juneau who manages the show for WPS.

"It's an awesome display of the latest ag technologies. The goal is to have active farmers attend and see what's new in an effort to provide solutions to help them improve their overall operations, whether big or small," according to Juneau.

"Admission is free," added Juneau. There is a $3 fee for parking.

Juneau expects to see farmers and agricultural professionals from all over Wisconsin, the UP, Minnesota, Illinois and Canada.

Some of the show features include: ventilation systems, lighting, watering equipment, computerized and Internet ag applications, milking and barn equipment, seed, feed and fertilizer, manure handling, livestock, field machinery and parts, tractors and essential farming equipment.

"It's amazing to see how far the industry has come since we've been hosting this show, now in its 55th year," said Juneau. The advancements of technology greatly enhanced the farmer's job to be more efficient and productive. Wireless internet technology allows the Ag Tech to have instant info at their disposal for record keeping, production, feeding and all aspects of farming, using wireless technology.

WPS Agricultural Consultants will be available for consultation and will be demonstrating a state-of-the-art farm wiring system during the three day event. For more information, access the WPS Farm Show website.
