One Law Group, S.C., formerly Stellpflug Law, S.C., announces that after 36 years of service to clients and the legal profession, C. David Stellpflug retired on December 31, 2015.

Dave began his career as an associate at the firm in 1979 and has been a shareholder since 1987. He served as President of Stellpflug Law, S.C. for 22 years. For more than 36 years, Dave has been known for his calm demeanor and unwavering determination to successfully represent his clients and their families.  Dave has been a preeminent attorney, a respected colleague and a revered mentor to many attorneys whose dedication has contributed greatly to the success of Stellpflug Law.

Dave has also been an active leader in the community. He served as past president of the Rotary Club of De Pere and received the Outstanding Fellowship Award in 1985. He received the De Pere Main Street Program Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007 and was recognized as an honorary board member of the Wisconsin Main Street Program. Dave served as an ambassador for the De Pere Chamber of Commerce for many years and, along with his family, was honored as a Green Bay YWCA Family of Distinction in 2007.

“I’m proud of the attorneys whom I mentored and have seen grow over the years,” said Dave. “I always demanded excellence of myself and tried to instill this expectation in them as well. I know they will continue to reflect the highest standards of practice and professionalism. The firm has been my home for many years, and it is wonderful to have seen it flourish and grow to its position of prominence today. Though I will miss my clients and colleagues both personally and professionally, I’m looking forward to retirement. I know my clients will be in good hands at the firm.”

Dave will spend his retirement at home in De Pere with his wife, Nancy, and their family, as well as traveling, boating, reading, visiting with friends, attending performing arts events and being involved in the community. He is also looking forward to becoming a grandfather.

Dave will be missed, but we know this retirement is well deserved. Please join us in wishing Dave a long and healthy retirement!
