Hwy GV Project Causes Detour to Unity Campus

De Pere, Wis. –   Beginning on Mar. 30 visitors to Unity’s Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence and administrative offices will be required to take an alternate route due to a road construction project on Highway GV in Ledgeview.

The project will cause the intersection of Highway GV and Oak Ridge Circle to close. Crews are building a roundabout at the intersection as well as expanding the stretch of Highway GV between Highways G (Dickenson Rd) and X (Heritage Rd.) from two lanes to four.

During the project areas of Highway GV will remain open, but crews are urging drivers to avoid the entire stretch between Highways G and X until the project is completed on Oct. 31, 2015.

Travelers will access Oak Ridge Circle via Highway G throughout the construction project. If traveling south on Highway GV from Highway 172, take the third roundabout exit (left) to head southeast on Highway G (toward Ledgeview Golf Course). After approximately one quarter of a mile, take a right at Oak Ridge Circle. After traveling on Oak Ridge Circle for approximately a mile and a half, the entrance to Unity’s campus will be on the left.

Attached is a map depicting the main detour and alternate routes. To get directions, access an online map and track construction progress visit unityhospice.org/about-unity/road-construction.
